The latest treasure we are memorizing (along with Psalm 91) written on chalk wallpaper on inside of the bathroom door...
Not for our brains but for the course of our lives. May it challenge and bless you as well...
Thank you to Ken and Janet (Managers at Wagonmaster) for inviting our children to help with shearing this year. We stayed here for an extended period a couple of years ago and the kids enjoyed doing small jobs as well as being highly involved with alpaca care and training. Highly recommended RV Park!
"People are often unreasonable and self-centered.
Forgive them anyway.
If you are kind people may accuse you of ulterior motives.
Be kind anyway.
If you are honest, people may cheat you. Be honest anyway.
If you find happiness, people may be jealous.
Be happy anyway.
The good you do today may be forgotten tomorrow.
Do good anyway.
Give the world the best you have and it may never be enough.
Give your best anyway.
For you see, in the end it is between you and God. It was never between you and them anyway."
When we started our journey over four years ago, one of our first extended parking spots was the backyard of this special church family. We are so grateful for the hospitality of Pastor Phil and Tammy and time to worship together again this past weekend.
Over the past couple of months, we've had the joy of helping to wrap gifts (lots) for children whose parents are either deceased, imprisoned or otherwise not involved as well as teen moms.
The sweetest treat this Thanksgiving was the smiles of families receiving turkey baskets!
We sat at Fort Worth Mayor Betsy Price's meeting room table this afternoon as she warmly answered questions from each of the kids.
